Doria Robinson
for
Richmond City Council, District 3

Rooted in Richmond and a 3rd generation resident, Doria is a leader in food justice and urban agriculture. She serves as Executive Director of Urban Tilth and is a co-founder and steering committee member of Cooperation Richmond. Doria is nourishing the City, creating job opportunities, and teaching youth necessary leadership skills to serve and empower community.

Doria’s Priorities include:
- Housing for All approach in creating more affordable housing, strengthening rent control, stop unfair rent increases, create transitional and emergency housing, and increase programs for low-income 1st time homebuyers.

-Sustainable neighborhoods and economic development to grow local economy, lessen dependency on polluting industries and phase them out, and investments into local small businesses.

-Creating access to healthy, equitable and inclusive neigborhoods where working families and individuals can thrive.

Eduardo Martinez
for
Richmond Mayor

Current Richmond City Council Vice Mayor and is serving as a Councilmember since being elected in 2014. Councilmember Martinez is a strong champion for advancing environmental justice policies, strengthening police review process, increasing the minimum wage, stabilizing rent and reinvesting taxpayer dollars back into community needs and resources not.

Eduardo’s priorities & proven leadership:
- Urgently working to protect the health of all Richmond residents by ensuring access to clean air, clean water, and clean land.

- Adequate and dignified housing free of toxic environmental harms and stronger renter protections for people and working families.

- Reinvesting money from police budget into communities of care and alternatives to incarceration such as access to mental health support, job placement, homeless services, and youth programming.


Los Angeles

Fatima Iqbal-Zubair
for
California State Assembly District 65

Emigrated with her family from Duabi, which shaped her views on belonging, human rights, and community. Fatima is a teacher, founded an award-winning FIRST Robotics team, and served as Director of the Department of Science. Fatima earned a seat on the Executive Board of the CA Democratic Party after being elected as an Assembly District delegate.

Fatima’s Priorities include:
- Addressing environmental racism and fighting for clean air, water, soil and access to clean healthy food are basic human rights.

- People over profits by making government more accountable to constituents not corrupt corporations and industries. This includes housing justice, divest from prisons and jails, and affordable health care.

- Education reform that provides a path for upward mobility to support Black, Latine, Native, Asian, and students of color.

Karen Bass
for Los Angeles Mayor

Experienced leader representing Angelenos for more than 14 years in the California State Legislature and as a Congressional Representative. Karen is rooted in Los Angeles and has been committed to fighting for social and economic justice to address root causes of inequality and injustice. Karen founded Community Coalition in South L.A and L.A based National Foster Youth Institute.

Karen’s Priorities include:
- Curbing homelessness, creating affordable housing, expanding rent stabilization and renter’s right to counsel, n addition to continuing LADWP Utility Debt program to keep Angelenos housed.

- Just recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic that centers community health and localized economies.

-Addressing climate change and environmental justice by accelerating investments for a just transition to a green economy
